Part-Time Interior Design Assistant (Experienced Only)

Location: Delray Beach, FL (In-Person)Hours:

15–30 hours per hourly pay: $25–$35/hour, based on experience

Brooke J Design Group is an established luxury residential interior design firm serving South Florida. We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Assistant who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has prior experience working for an interior design firm and can contribute immediately with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings
• Prepare mood boards and renderings for presentation
• Source furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics, and accessories
• Create furniture specifications and presentation boards
• Obtain vendor pricing and coordinate orders
• Track purchasing, deliveries, and installations
• Conduct field measurements and site visits
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients
• Assist with project management and day-to-day studio operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience working for an interior design firm
• Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD and space planning
• Experience sourcing furnishings and finishes
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Reliable transportation for local project site visits
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Luxury residential design experience
• Experience with Houzz Pro, SketchUp, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools
• Procurement and purchasing experience
