MSP Support Technician

Easton Technology Group is a boutique MSP serving established Oklahoma businesses across several industries. We're not break-fix — our clients pay us to standardize their infrastructure, document everything thoroughly, and be reachable when something is actually broken.

About the role

Hours are variable — some weeks are light, some are heavier when a client project is moving or alerts spike. We pay for the work, not for seat time. If you need a guaranteed 20+ hours every week, this isn't the right fit. If you want flexible part-time MSP work with the option to grow into more hours as we expand, read on.

During ticket hours, you'll:

• Triage and respond to alerts across our monitoring stack
• Handle Tier 1–2 support tickets from end users — M365 issues, account changes, endpoint problems, printer/peripheral issues, etc.
• Escalate cleanly with documentation when something needs the owner's attention

During downtime, you'll:

• Take on project work matched to what you're good at — runbook buildouts, M365 tenant work, network documentation, migration tasks
• Improve our internal documentation as you work tickets

What we're looking for

• Prior MSP or multi-client IT experience is a strong plus — you'll ramp much faster
• Comfortable in M365 admin, basic networking (DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewall rules), and Windows server/endpoint troubleshooting
• Writes clear tickets and clean documentation — this matters as much as the technical fix
• Self-directed — you'll often be working alone and need to know when to ask vs. when to figure it out
• Reliable communication on chat during your working windows

If you've worked break-fix or in-house IT and want to try the MSP side, we'll consider you — just be honest about your experience in your application.

Logistics

• Pay: $20–$30/hour, based on experience
• Location: Remote. Oklahoma City local is ideal for occasional onsite work but not required
• Type: Part-time, 1099 contract to start, with potential W-2 conversion for the right long-term fit
