MIG/TIG Welder

Eric'sons is currently hiring for an experienced welder/fabricator for our plant! We are a Trench drain manufacturing company currently hiring for several permanent positions. Advancement to leadership positions available.

In the role of welder, you will be responsible for the performing the following duties:

Job Duties:

• perform ordinary and repetitive hand welding operations.
• Operate welding equipment; regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals.
• Be able to MIG and TIG weld
• Heavy lifting may be required
• Mya layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tape measure, square, scribe or templates.
• Mus be able to plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications.
• Must be proficient at reading work orders.
• A concern for quality control is a requirement.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
• May perform minor maintenance procedures.
• Insurance quality of work is consistent with quality procedures.
• Keep the fabrication areas organized.
• Communicate fabrication concerns to supervisor.
• Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures to insure a safe work environment.
• Work overtime as needed
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work site daily
• Must be able to stand for 8-hour shift.
