**Duties:**
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, and collecting demographic information.
- Perform medical procedures, such as taking blood pressure, height, and weight, and drawing blood under the supervision of a licensed medical professional.
- Utilize medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and maintain accurate medical records.
- Assist with medical billing and collection processes, including ensuring that all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide general office support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the office.
- Utilize office management skills to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
**Skills:**
- Experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant is essential. New grads are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and collection processes preferred, not required.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable - Preferred Mandarin speaking, but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with phone systems and office management software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
