Maintenance Technician –

We are searching for mature, reliable, and capable individuals to join our maintenance department. We have full time positions available in a remarkable environment where you are valued and make a difference! We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of our apartment community. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:

• Perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, painting, and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.
• Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the building and property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal.
• Additional duties as needed and directed.

Qualifications

The qualifications of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:

• A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
• Good communication skills; the ability to work well with others productively and respectfully.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-100 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
