About Us

American Wire Works and Ace Metal Works are growing family-owned manufacturing companies that produce wire products, fabricated metal products, and material handling solutions for industrial customers throughout North America.

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Manufacturing Support Technician who enjoys solving problems, fixing equipment, fabricating solutions, and supporting manufacturing operations that have just been collocated in a new facility.

This is not a management position. We are looking for a skilled technician who wants to work directly with equipment and help keep our operations running efficiently.

Overtime and Performance Bonus offered.

What You'll Do

Maintenance & Reliability

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production operations
• Perform preventive maintenance activities
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime

Manufacturing Support

• Repair and maintain fixtures, dies, and tooling
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Assist with equipment modifications and improvements
• Support new equipment installations

Facility Maintenance

• Maintain compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, and facility systems
• Coordinate outside service providers when necessary
• Support facility improvement projects

What We're Looking ForRequired

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Basic machining experience (lathe, mill, drill press)
• Basic electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and solve problems

Preferred

• Manufacturing experience
• Preventive maintenance experience

Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
