Litigation Associate - Insurance Defense

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Perform legal research and provide litigation strategy support.
• Handle multiple active litigation files and deadlines.
• Prepare for and assist with trial and appellate proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

Required

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• 3-5 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking.
