Line Cook

Rosemark at Mayfair Park, one of Denver's premier senior living community, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our on-site, from-scratch kitchens. In this role, you will prepare and cook made-to-order meals that delight our residents and guests, supporting a high-quality dining experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic culinary team and is passionate about helping take our culinary program to the next level while contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable community atmosphere. This is a full-time shift, working 11am to 7pm, must have at least one weekend day available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare all food according to the menu under the direction of the Executive Chef

• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes

• Communicates frequently and professionally with other line cooks, chef, managers, and front of house team members

• Adheres to all safety and sanitation standards

• Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated

Qualifications:

• Prior kitchen experience

• Requires knowledge of special diets

• Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$21.50-$23.50 an hour, based on experience
