Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy and math skills, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 4 years. Experience with Montessori methods and working with children with disabilities is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Assess children's development and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the values of our private school setting.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in Montessori methods is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to provide toddler care while promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques to support early reading skills.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
