Job Summary:
The HVAC Install Technician is responsible for installing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, ductwork, and system troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine proper installation procedures.
- Connect and test HVAC systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Install ductwork, piping, and electrical components as required.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems for proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently.
- Carries out additional responsibilities directed by leadership as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- HVAC certification or relevant training (Required).
- EPA certification (Preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of HVAC installation experience (Required).
- Experience in both residential and commercial HVAC installation preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment.
