HVAC Installer

Job Description

We are looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC technician with 5+ years experience to install HVAC equipment including furnaces, mini splits, heat pumps, air handlers, outdoor equipment, venting furnace, run refrigeration and drain lines, indoor/outdoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers. You will have a keen understanding of flex and sheet metal duct work, duct fittings, wiring both indoor and outdoor units. You should be capable of using a variety of tools and techniques.

Job Responsibilities

• Layout and organize new construction jobsites
• Put together duct work
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems, and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services
• Keeping detailed inventory log of all HVAC equipment
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
• 5+ years experience as an HVAC Installer
• Experience in replacements and mini split installation is a must
• Valid drivers license a must
• Valid oil burner license a must
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
• Working knowledge of various boiler and AC systems
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal skills and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Reliable and self-motivated

Pay is based on experience
