About the role
1. UAE Labour Law & HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and legal compliance.
- Support policy implementation and employee awareness initiatives.
2. Employment Contracts & Government Documentation
- Manage employment contracts, renewals, amendments, and employee records.
- Coordinate work permits, visas, Emirates IDs, and other government requirements.
- Monitor contract and document expiry dates to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Liaise with government authorities and PRO/GRO teams on employment-related matters.
3. HR Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready employee files.
- Prepare HR letters, certificates, contract amendments, and employee correspondence.
- Ensure accuracy of HRIS/HRMS data throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support document control, record retention, and compliance audits.
4. Payroll, WPS & Benefits Administration
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance records, leave data, and employee information updates.
- Ensure WPS compliance and maintain accurate payroll documentation.
- Administer employee benefits, insurance, leave management, and final settlements.
- Maintain payroll and benefits records in line with legal requirements.
- Partner with Finance on payroll processing, employee cost allocation, leave liabilities, and workforce reporting.
- Assist with employee-related audits, accruals, provisions, and cost analysis.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Finance to monitor resource utilisation, manpower allocation, and project-related employee costs.
5. Government Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Manage HR submissions, renewals, and reporting requirements with MOHRE and other authorities.
- Handle labour inspections, complaints, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor legislative changes and recommend policy improvements.
- Support Emiratisation tracking, reporting, and government workforce initiatives.
- Assist with In-Country Value (ICV) workforce documentation and compliance requirements.
6. Audits & Compliance Monitoring
- Maintain audit-ready HR records and documentation.
- Support internal, external, and government audits.
- Conduct compliance reviews and identify potential risks.
- Track audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
7. HR Policy Execution & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Execute and enforce HR policies consistently across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, documentation standards, and HR controls.
- Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation and implementation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, performance, disciplinary, and employee documentation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE processes, WPS, employment contracts, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.
- Experience working with PRO/GRO teams, government authorities, payroll providers, Finance teams, auditors, and external service providers.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, and HR reporting.
- Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
