Host/ Server Assistant - Part-time

Sake Haus, in the Roosevelt Row Arts & Entertainment district in Phoenix, Arizona is looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated individual for a host/hostess position.

Sake Haus has a Tokyo street vibe and is a little on the dark side with progressive music, elevated, creative sushi and a big bar program that includes a large selection of sake, Japanese whisky, and creative, fun cocktails.

We are looking for charismatic individuals that thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment that have a passion for sushi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly service oriented manner.
• Know how to properly add guests to Yelp Waitlist and quote wait times properly.
• Ability to answer the telephone according to standards
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming (per brand standards)
• Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist

Qualifications

• Love of Japanese cuisine.
• Love of Hospitality
• Maricopa County Food Handlers Certificate
• Positive & upbeat attitude
• Calm under pressure
• Must be available to work nights and weekends, including both Friday and Saturday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
