Home Care Registered Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with DHA standards and physician instructions.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, and nasogastric (NG) tube care, as required.
• Provide nursing care for elderly, post-operative, chronically ill, disabled, pediatric, and palliative care patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor patient progress and immediately report any changes in condition to the physician or nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication records, and daily patient reports.
• Educate patients and family members on medication management, nutrition, disease prevention, and home healthcare practices.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow DHA infection prevention and control guidelines.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, infusion pumps, nebulizers, glucometers, suction machines, and pulse oximeters.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) when required.
• Coordinate with physicians, physiotherapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid DHA Licence or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory).
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Registered Nurse).
• Valid nursing registration from the home country (if applicable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.
• Physically fit to perform home care nursing duties.
• Freshers with a DHA Eligibility Letter may apply (subject to employer requirements).
• Willing to work 24-hour home care duty as assigned.
