Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Meg World Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer (Fresher) to join our technology team.

The selected candidate will work on WordPress websites, custom websites, web applications, business software, dashboards, portals, APIs, and internal company products.

The candidate should be willing to learn both CMS-based development and custom software development and gradually take ownership of projects from development to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress Development

• Develop professional websites using WordPress.
• Install, configure, and customize WordPress.
• Work with WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize existing themes according to client requirements.
• Develop and modify WordPress pages using builders such as Elementor or similar tools.
• Configure menus, forms, pages, blogs, galleries, and other website components.
• Install and configure required plugins.
• Customize WordPress using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP where required.
• Create basic custom WordPress functionality.
• Troubleshoot WordPress errors and plugin/theme conflicts.
• Perform WordPress updates and maintenance.
• Improve WordPress website speed and performance.
• Implement basic SEO and mobile responsiveness.
• Configure domains, hosting, SSL and WordPress installations.
• Maintain backups and follow basic WordPress security practices.

2. Website Development

• Create responsive and professional websites for clients and the company.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional websites.
• Develop mobile-friendly layouts.
• Build websites using WordPress as well as custom technologies.
• Implement contact forms, enquiry forms, booking forms, galleries and other features.
• Maintain and update existing websites.
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility and basic SEO.

3. Frontend Development

Work with technologies such as:

• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript
• React.js / Next.js
• Bootstrap
• Tailwind CSS

Responsibilities include:

• Creating responsive user interfaces.
• Converting designs into websites.
• Creating reusable components.
• Ensuring browser and mobile compatibility.
• Improving website user experience.

4. Backend Development

Learn and work with backend technologies such as:

• PHP
• WordPress / WordPress PHP
• Node.js
• Express.js / NestJS
• Python / FastAPI / Django

Responsibilities include:

• Developing APIs.
• Connecting frontend applications with backend systems.
• Implementing business logic.
• User authentication and authorization.
• Database connectivity.
• Troubleshooting backend issues.

5. Database Development

Work with:

• MySQL
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB

Responsibilities include:

• Creating tables and collections.
• Writing basic SQL queries.
• Managing relationships.
• Connecting databases with applications.
• Managing and maintaining application data.

6. Web Application & Software Development

Assist in developing:

• Business management software
• POS systems
• CRM/ERP applications
• LMS platforms
• Booking systems
• E-commerce systems
• Admin dashboards
• Customer portals
• SaaS applications
• Internal company applications

The candidate will gradually learn to handle complete modules independently.

7. API & Third-Party Integrations

Assist with:

• Payment gateway integrations
• WhatsApp APIs
• SMS APIs
• Email APIs
• Google Maps
• QR-code systems
• Social media integrations
• Third-party business APIs
• Other external services required by projects

8. Testing & Debugging

• Test websites and web applications before delivery.
• Identify and fix bugs.
• Test APIs and database functionality.
• Check websites across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Test different browsers.
• Troubleshoot WordPress, frontend and backend issues.

9. Hosting & Deployment

Learn and assist with:

• Domain configuration
• DNS
• SSL certificates
• Web hosting
• cPanel
• WordPress hosting
• VPS/server deployment
• Linux basics
• Git/GitHub
• Application deployment
• Website migration and backup

10. Website Maintenance

• Update WordPress websites.
• Update themes and plugins.
• Fix website errors.
• Maintain website security.
• Perform backups.
• Monitor website performance.
• Make content/layout changes as requested.
• Resolve client website issues.

11. Team & Project Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements.
• Work with senior developers and project managers.
• Complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Provide regular progress updates.
• Maintain proper documentation.
• Follow company coding and development standards.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management.
