Facility Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and fire safety.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate with in-house technicians and third-party service contractors.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Oversee energy management and implement cost-effective solutions to reduce energy usage.
• Provide technical support for renovation and remodeling projects within the building.
• Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets and control expenses.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by addressing maintenance complaints professionally and promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or residential building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP), BMS (Building Management Systems), and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Good understanding of local safety, fire, and building regulations.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage contractors and multiple service providers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
