About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to teach students of Grade VI and VII. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons for Grade VI and VII students.
- Teach grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and spoken English.
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate academic progress with parents when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
- Ensure students’ safety and well-being while maintaining school policies and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience (Middle School level preferred).
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Preferred Skills
- Lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Student assessment and classroom management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online teaching tools.
- Ability to motivate and engage young learners.
