ELV TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ELV Technician with hands-on experience in CCTV systems, Access Control systems, and Fiber Optic Splicing. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems. A valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
• Install and troubleshoot Access Control systems, including controllers, readers, and biometric devices.
• Perform fiber optic cable termination, splicing, testing, and fault identification.
• Install and terminate structured cabling (CAT6/CAT6A) and network components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in ELV systems efficiently.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow company safety standards and site regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems.
• Proven experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Fiber Optic Splicing.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, networking, and ELV installations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory).
• ITI/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with leading CCTV and Access Control brands.
• Familiarity with OTDR testing and fiber optic certification.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
