Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and validation of High Voltage (48V–1500V) connector systems. This role involves cradle-to-grave ownership of connector components, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop technical solutions, manage project deliverables, and support product validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead High Voltage (48V–1500V) connector design and validation activities.
- Manage component development from concept through production release.
- Gather technical requirements from internal engineering teams and customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain technical proposals, quotations, and lead times.
- Drive project execution, risk mitigation, and schedule management.
- Support testing, validation, and manufacturing implementation activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
Team Structure
- Work within a collaborative engineering team.
- Team consists of 1 Team Leader and 1 additional team member.
Work Environment
- On-site role in Mossville, IL.
- Collaborative team environment.
- PPE Required (Steel-Toed Shoes).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Associate Degree accepted with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 4 - 7 years of engineering experience preferred.
- Internship experience may be considered toward total experience.
