l Ameen Industries LLC is looking for a creative and technically proficient Design Engineer to join our team. If you have a passion for precision and aesthetics, we want you to lead our design process for high-end retail fixtures and bespoke furniture.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for translating conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. You will play a key role in the manufacturing process for metal retail furniture, retail fixtures, and bespoke wooden furniture (including wardrobes and kitchens), ensuring every design is both functional and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for metal retail furniture, fixtures, wooden wardrobes, and kitchen systems.
• Create accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and cut lists to streamline the production process.
• Ensure all designs meet structural integrity, space constraints, and aesthetic requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the shop floor team to ensure design feasibility for both metal fabrication and carpentry.
• Manage revisions and updates based on client feedback and site measurements.

Requirements

• Software Expertise: Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential for 3D modeling and assembly design.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in designing retail fixtures, metal retail furniture, and custom wooden furniture.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, joinery, materials (wood, laminates, veneers, steel, etc.), and hardware integration.
• Communication: Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into actionable shop drawings.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
