About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join a dedicated healthcare team, working alongside providers and staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dental care.
Responsibilities Include
- Updating patient records and conducting X-ray procedures
- Recording periodontal charting and preparing instruments for exams
- Performing preventative care such as fluoride treatments and assisting with infection control
- Monitoring nitrous oxide (in Washington) and educating patients on oral health
- Assisting in orthodontic procedures, including obtaining records and fabricating retainers
- High School Diploma or GED
- WA state Dental Assistant Registration or willingness to obtain
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic knowledge of dental terminology and infection control
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and proficiency with Electronic Dental Records
- On-the-job training provided, including support to earn dental assistant registration
