Ready to start your career in airfreight? As an Office Agent, you'll be responsible for the documentary handling of cargo and mail, ensuring smooth and accurate processing under professional supervision.

Tasks

The Office Agent is responsible for:

Documentary Acceptances
Shipment Data Capture
Prioritization of Export Build-up and Import Breakdown

Preparation of Export and Import documentation (Manifest, AWBs)
Handling of irregularities (MSCA, MSAW, FDCA, damages)
Preparation NOTOC
Close out flight
Handling of irregularities (MSCA, MSAW, FDCA, damages)
Customer contact (Notify customer)
Hand over AWB and Docs to customer
Debit charges

Local / Regional Specifics

Perform Dangerous Goods (DG) acceptance checks in accordance with current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), Lufthansa Cargo policies and applicable regulatory requirements
Apply carrier-specific DG requirements and restrictions for other airlines operating within the facility
Coordinate with Sales teams regarding priority, time-critical and special-handling shipments to ensure timely processing and compliance

Participate in other duties as assigned

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

High school diploma/GED desirable
2-3 years of experience in logistics or air cargo industry desirable
Fluency in English language required
Computer skills as user
