Job Title: Car Washer / Auto Detail Assistant

Reporting To: Service Supervisor / Wash Bay Manager

Position Overview

The Car Washer is responsible for delivering high-quality automotive cleaning, washing, and basic detailing services to customer or fleet vehicles. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and proper handling of cleaning equipment, high-pressure washers, and specialized chemicals to maintain safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Daily Vehicle Cleaning & Care

• Perform exterior vehicle washing using high-pressure jet washers, foam lances, sponges, and microfiber towels.
• Vacuum interior seats, carpets, floor mats, boot space, and dashboard area.
• Wipe down and sanitize interior panels, steering wheel, vents, and consoles.
• Clean and shine wheels, tires, rims, door jambs, and exterior glass/mirrors.
• Apply tire dressing, interior protectant, and basic spray wax as required by service tier.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Operate wash bay machinery, water pressure equipment, and vacuum systems safely.
• Monitor levels of wash soaps, degreasers, wheel cleaners, and detailing chemicals.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free wash bays, drying areas, and equipment storage rooms.
• Inspect tools and report damaged hoses, nozzles, or machinery to the supervisor immediately.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Education

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a commercial car wash, auto detailing center, or service garage in the UAE is preferred (entry-level candidates willing to train are welcome).
• Language: Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.

Key Competencies

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in outdoor or semi-outdoor heat.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in vehicle appearance.
• Good time management skills to handle high vehicle volumes during peak hours.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Valid UAE manual/automatic driving license is an asset (often earns higher pay tier).

Salary & Direct Financial Benefits

• Basic Salary: Competitive monthly salary based on experience and holding of a valid UAE driver's license.
• Overtime Pay: Calculated and paid in accordance with UAE Labour Law for work outside standard scheduled hours.

Visas & Legal Coverage

• Employment Visa: 100% employer-sponsored 2-year work visa.
• Labor Card & Work Permit: Full legal sponsorship under the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
