CAD Engineer / CAD Designer (Contract-Based)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for heavy vehicles, vehicle components, and assemblies.
• Prepare engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
• Modify and update existing vehicle designs based on engineering changes and project requirements.
• Perform design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company specifications.
• Maintain CAD files, drawing revisions, and engineering documentation.
• Support prototype development, vehicle modifications, and product improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Designer, or Mechanical Draftsman.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, or Creo.
• Experience designing heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers, buses, or construction equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
