Boutique Assistant

Position Summary

The Boutique Assistant plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, beautifully merchandised shopping experience for every guest. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the boutique by maintaining displays, managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the boutique is clean, organized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, creative, and enjoys providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Customer Experience

Welcome and assist boutique shoppers with a friendly, professional attitude.

Provide product recommendations and styling assistance.

Help customers find gifts, apparel, accessories, and home décor.

Create a warm, luxury shopping experience that reflects our brand.

Merchandising

Restock merchandise throughout the day.

Maintain attractive product displays and seasonal merchandising.

Fold apparel, organize shelves, straighten displays, and ensure merchandise is presented beautifully.

Assist with new product launches and seasonal floor changes.

Inventory

Receive and unpack shipments.

Price and tag merchandise.

Organize back stock and storage areas.

Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.

Report low inventory and damaged merchandise.

Operations

Prepare online and in-store pickup orders.

Package gifts and purchases with care.

Maintain boutique cleanliness, including dusting shelves, cleaning mirrors, and keeping fitting areas organized.

Assist with boutique events, promotions, and special sales.

Teamwork

Work closely with salon front desk and boutique team members.

Communicate inventory needs and customer feedback.

Support other team members during busy periods.

Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills.

Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer and point-of-sale experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
