Barista – Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at Our Restaurant, a premium international dining destination in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.

About Us

Bait Al Ahlam is a luxury restaurant offering a curated selection of international cuisines and premium beverages. Our beverage menu includes specialty coffees, teas, fresh juices, traditional Arabic drinks, mocktails, and signature house creations designed to deliver a unique and memorable experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, and specialty coffee drinks
• Create fresh juices, mocktails, smoothies, and traditional beverages as per restaurant standards
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all drinks served
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment properly
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the barista station at all times
• Greet customers warmly and take beverage orders when required
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest requests professionally
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards preferred)
• Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a restaurant, or hotel
• Strong knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation and latte art (preferred)
• Experience in making fresh juices, mocktails, and specialty beverages is an advantage
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and professional appearance
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
