Overview
Babysitters Of Boulder has per diem, supplemental work available on weekdays for experienced childcare providers with strong infant and toddler experience. Perfect for parents, teachers, graduate students, and retirees, who have professional childcare experience. Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
Please note, this is not a hiring post for long-term nanny positions.
Pay: $30 to $35 per hour
Keep 100% of your hourly earnings, the agency does not keep any percentage of pay.
Schedule

- We have the most need for sitters with weekday availability in Denver and Boulder

Standardized Hourly Rates
- $30/hour for 1 to 2 children
- $35/hour for 3 to 4 children (limit: 4 children per sitter)
- Event babysitting , $35/hour
- Hotel/Airbnb care, $35/hour for 1 to 4 children
Pay Details
- Clients pay in full for your reserved time, even if returning early
- Mileage reimbursement for driving children: 72.5¢/mile (2026 IRS rate)
We ensure cancellation payment to you if a family must cancel their booking:
- Advance cancellation: $30
- Less than 48 hours notice: $95
- Same day: full payment for your booking

Requirements
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Minimum 5 years paid childcare experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- At least 1 year of in-home babysitting or nanny experience
- Babysitting availability for the coming year or more
- Current CPR/First Aid certification from an in-person class
- Two childcare references
- Reliable vehicle for commuting and occasional children's transportation
- Clean background check, driving record and current car insurance
Duties
- Provide nurturing care and age-appropriate activities
- Avoid screen time unless approved by parents
- Prepare meals/snacks and clean up after use
- Communicate clearly with parents about expectations
- Leave things better than we found them by tidying playrooms, wiping down countertops, picking up kids' bedroom floors, and so on
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
