- Provide imaging deployment engineering for new facility rollouts including modality connectivity, DICOM configuration, DMWL/MPPS, routing rules, compression, and archive setup.
- Define and evaluate technical approach options, dependencies, and risk considerations for application enhancements and bespoke solutions; support OEM/vendor coordination including patch reviews, defect investigation, compatibility testing, and roadmap alignment.
- Design and build ETL and data movement jobs for reporting, archival, and system-to-system data flows; lead database optimization projects and support data migration planning and execution, including imaging archive migrations and coexistence scenarios.
- Provide platform engineering support covering server/OS configuration, storage planning, certificate management, application services, and full environment readiness for deployment windows.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions health checks, alerting, and dashboards across application platforms, databases, and imaging infrastructure.
- Own the test strategy and test planning for all AD work items; configure and maintain test environments and ensure test data readiness.
- Execute unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing for application enhancements, new interfaces (HL7/FHIR/DICOM/API), vendor patches, and version upgrades.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) to accelerate regression cycles, upgrade verification, and deployment validation.
- Perform performance testing (load, stress, scalability) for application and integration changes; support clinical workflow validation and UAT with clinical stakeholders.
- Support post-deployment validation and hypercare verification; produce test sign-off documentation and track quality metrics (defects, rework, coverage KPIs).
- Guide security and compliance enhancements at both the application and database/platform layers (audit trails, access controls, encryption); write data-fix scripts and support root-cause analysis.
- Produce architecture, design, configuration, as-built, and runbook documentation; lead knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.

- 8 to 12+ years in healthcare imaging IT with expert-level PACS/VNA administration and configuration experience across major platforms (e.g., Change Healthcare/Optum, GE, Philips, Fuji, Sectra, Agfa, Merge).
- Deep DICOM expertise (associations, SOP classes, DMWL, routing, compression) and strong working knowledge of HL7 imaging message flows.
- Hands-on experience with imaging migrations, multi-version upgrades, and multi-site deployments in US health systems.
- 6 to 8+ years in database engineering and administration (SQL Server and/or Oracle) including performance tuning at scale, ETL development (SSIS or equivalent), and complex stored procedures.
- Production-level platform engineering experience on Windows Server environments (IIS, application services, certificate management).
