Team Lead / Senior Developer
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O / AX) | Azure
Location: Remote / Must be able to work in Pacific Time Zone hours
Type: Full-Time / Contract
Seeking a Team Lead / Senior Developer with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O / AX) and Azure to design, build, configure, and optimize enterprise ERP and integrated cloud solutions. This role combines hands-on development, technical architecture, accounting domain expertise, and delivery leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and technical design for D365 F&O / AX and integrated systems
- Analyze existing systems, perform gap analysis, and document solution designs
- Configure Dynamics AX / D365 F&O and develop custom solutions (X++, extensions)
- Perform custom code development and enhancements
- Design and execute tests; triage defects and provide fixes
- Develop solutions using .NET Core, C#, and Azure services (Functions, App Services, Logic Apps)
- Design and support integrations (REST, OData, APIs)
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure DevOps
- Perform code reviews and enforce development standards
- Consult with business stakeholders to gather requirements using Agile methods
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development experience
- Strong accounting / financial systems knowledge
- Expertise in X++ and D365 F&O extensibility model
- Experience configuring Dynamics AX / D365 F&O
- Strong C# and .NET / .NET Core experience
- Azure cloud development experience
- Integration experience (REST, OData, APIs)
- SQL/data experience
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
Preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications
- Experience with Dynamics CRM / Dataverse
- Azure DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code
- AX to D365 F&O upgrade experience
- Power Platform experience

Pay: $90.00 - $130.00 per hour
