Vice President, Production Services Application Support
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our FX Execution Services team. This role is located in London.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Strengthen incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes to reduce repeat issues, control gaps, and operational risk while improving platform stability.
Drive initiatives through to completion with strong ownership, accountability, urgency, and quality.
Champion an automation-first mindset, leveraging AI, observability, and tooling to reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
Identify systemic issues and drive sustainable remediation through process simplification, platform improvements, and close partnership with engineering teams.
Provide leadership across FX platforms with strong understanding of front-to-back trade flows, market structure, and critical business services supporting execution and trading activities.
Build trusted relationships with business, engineering, and operations stakeholders through clear communication, transparency, and effective governance.
Lead a high-performing global production services organization with strong talent development, accountability, and consistent execution across regions.
Drive improvements in availability, resiliency, SLA performance, incident reduction, and time to restore service for critical platforms.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in global production services or application support supporting mission-critical platforms across multiple regions, including follow-the-sun models.
- Proven track record of leading incident, problem, and change management with measurable improvements in stability and service recovery.
- Demonstrated automation-first and AI-enabled mindset, with experience driving tooling, observability, and process automation.
- Strong ownership mentality and execution focus, with the ability to take initiatives from concept through delivery and embed sustainable outcomes.
- Deep technical and operational experience across production environments, including monitoring, observability, resiliency, infrastructure, middleware, cloud, and application support.
- Experience supporting FX or capital markets platforms, with understanding of trading flows, execution services, and front-to-back processing.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic service improvements across operating model, governance, risk, and control frameworks.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business, operations, and engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging platforms such as Kafka and MQ, along with programming/scripting languages including Java and Python.
