Job Description
We are a growing truck dispatch company that works with carriers, owner-operators, and truck drivers across the United States. We assist our clients with load booking, dispatch services, paperwork, broker communication, route planning, and other operational support.
We are looking for an experienced Truck Dispatch Sales Representative who has strong cold-calling and sales experience within the trucking or dispatch industry. The ideal candidate should understand how truck dispatch services work and be able to find, contact, convince, and onboard new carriers and owner-operators.
This is a target-based position for someone who is confident on the phone, understands the needs of truckers, and can consistently bring new trucks and carriers to the company.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to carriers, owner-operators, and trucking companies.
- Explain our dispatch services clearly and professionally.
- Generate leads and convert interested prospects into paying clients.
- Follow up with potential clients through calls, emails, and messages.
- Build strong relationships with carriers and truck owners.
- Collect the information and documents required to onboard new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales and onboarding targets.
- Coordinate with the dispatch and operations teams after closing a client.
- Handle objections confidently and maintain professional communication.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in truck dispatch sales, carrier acquisition, or a closely related role.
- Proven experience in cold calling and closing sales.
- Good understanding of the US trucking and dispatch industry.
- Ability to communicate confidently with carriers and owner-operators.
- Strong spoken English and professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work under targets and produce consistent results.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Must be able to work from our office.
- Basic computer, email, CRM, and record-management skills.
