Build the Marketing Function of an AI Company from the Ground Up

Solexes (Private) Limited is an innovation-driven technology company dedicated to developing intelligent software products and digital solutions that solve real-world business challenges. Our focus spans Artificial Intelligence, enterprise software, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, serving customers across international markets while contributing to Pakistan’s growing innovation ecosystem.

As we prepare for the commercial growth of our products and expand our international presence, we are seeking our first full-time Marketing & Growth Lead to establish and lead our marketing function.

This is not a traditional marketing role.

It is an opportunity to become part of the founding leadership team of a technology startup and build the company’s marketing capability from the ground up. You will work directly with the CEO to shape the company’s brand, marketing strategy, product positioning, and growth initiatives while laying the foundation for a future in-house marketing department.

If you are looking to simply manage social media accounts, performing SEO or execute isolated marketing campaigns, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing Solexes’ corporate marketing strategy across branding, product marketing, digital marketing, content strategy, communications, partnerships, events, and lead generation.

Initially, you will work independently while collaborating with a support team of interns, specialist freelancers, and external service providers where appropriate. As the company grows, you will be expected to recruit, mentor, and lead Solexes’ internal marketing team.

This position offers exceptional exposure to executive decision-making and provides an opportunity to influence the company’s long-term commercial growth strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing

· Develop and execute Solexes’ corporate marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.

· Prepare annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific marketing plans.

· Develop marketing KPIs and executive dashboards.

· Establish scalable marketing processes, governance, and reporting frameworks.

Brand Development

· Build and strengthen the Solexes corporate brand.

· Develop messaging frameworks and brand positioning.

· Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.

· Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity and brand standards.

Product Marketing

· Develop go-to-market strategies for Solexes’ products and services.

· Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions.

· Plan, develop and execute product launch campaigns.

· Support customer education and product adoption initiatives.

Content & Communications

· Develop and manage the editorial calendar.

· Produce and oversee high-quality thought leadership content.

· Coordinate blogs, newsletters, white papers, presentations, videos, and case studies.

· Work closely with technical teams to transform complex concepts into engaging business content.

Digital Marketing

· Manage the company’s digital marketing initiatives across LinkedIn, website, SEO, AI search optimisation, email marketing, marketing automation, and performance analytics.

· Continuously monitor campaign performance and proactively recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.

Community & Partnership Development

· Develop relationships with universities, technology communities, industry associations, innovation centres, strategic partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.

· Coordinate participation in conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.

Demand Generation

· Develop and execute lead generation campaigns.

· Design customer acquisition journeys and marketing funnels.

· Support business development through qualified marketing opportunities and strategic campaigns.

Marketing Operations

· Establish marketing processes, documentation, templates, dashboards, and reporting standards.

· Manage external agencies, creative partners, and specialist consultants where required.

· Need based marketing services to customers

· Build a scalable marketing function capable of supporting the company’s long-term growth.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first six months, you will have:

· Established a structured marketing operating model.

· Developed a repeatable content and communications engine.

· Strengthened the Solexes corporate brand and executive visibility.

· Introduced measurable marketing dashboards and reporting.

· Implemented scalable lead generation processes.

· Expanded Solexes’ presence across strategic industry and academic communities.

· Developed and executed marketing campaign for ready to deliver products

· Created the foundation for a high-performing in-house marketing team.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible marketing experience, with at least 3 years gained within a reputable marketing, branding, digital marketing, or advertising agency.

· Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns for multiple clients across diverse industries.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have developed their professional marketing expertise within a reputable marketing, branding, digital marketing, or advertising agency, where they have gained exposure to strategic planning, campaign execution, client servicing, performance measurement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

This position is intended for marketing professionals with demonstrated strategic marketing experience. Candidates whose primary experience is limited to social media management, influencer marketing, graphic design, or content creation without broader marketing responsibilities are unlikely to be a suitable fit for this role.
