Job Title: Junior Accountant

Employment Type: Full-Time, on-site
Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Salary: Up to PKR 100,000 per Month
Position Overview
Mindwhiz is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices. Candidates enrolled in CA or ACCA programs are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, verify, and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial records and documentation.
- Maintain organized accounting files and records for future references.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Must be currently enrolled in CA or ACCA.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, ledger management, and financial record keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Pakistani taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting management systems.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and financial reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
