Full Stack Developer

Job Title: Full-Stack Developer (React, Next.js & Node.js)

About the Role
We’re seeking a developer who owns the entire stack—from provisioning and hardening servers to building and deploying modern web applications. You’ll architect our infrastructure, develop scalable APIs, and craft responsive frontends with React & Next.js. Expertise across the stack is essential, and you’ll thrive in our self-managed environment (Hetzner/Contabo).

What You’ll Be Doing

Infrastructure
Provision, harden, and maintain dedicated/cloud servers. Ensure 24/7 stability with monitoring (Netdata) and security best practices (firewalls, SSH hardening, patching).

Web Development

• Frontend: Build responsive, performant UIs with React & Next.js (SSR/SSG).
• Backend: Develop robust APIs and services using Node.js & Express.
• Real-Time: Implement features using WebSockets (Socket.io) or Firebase Cloud Messaging/Expo.

Database Management
Design and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL/Supabase schemas. Handle manual backups, replication, and point-in-time recovery. Use Drizzle ORM for type-safe queries.

Deployment & CI/CD
Own pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), containerize apps with Docker, and manage Nginx, SSL (Let’s Encrypt), and environment configurations.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux).
• Backend: Node.js, Express, REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Database: PostgreSQL/MySQL, Supabase, Drizzle ORM.
• Infrastructure: Linux (Ubuntu), Nginx, DNS, Docker, CI/CD.
• Bonus: Redis, WebSockets, Firebase, automated backups, WebRTC.

Problem-Solving
Diagnose performance bottlenecks (frontend render paths, API latency, SQL queries) and scale applications. Balance security, speed, and maintainability. Familiarity with supabase postgress, graphQL is a plus

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
