Maccabi Tel Aviv FC, the oldest and most decorated football club in Israel, is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Remote Specialist Care Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional, comprehensive support to key individuals within the club, ensuring their non-footballing needs are managed with the highest level of professionalism and discretion. This full-time, fully remote role requires a proactive and empathetic individual who can work independently to deliver outstanding care and administrative support.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist Care Officer, you will be a central point of contact, managing a wide range of tasks to ensure the well-being and smooth operation of daily life for our personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary liaison for a designated group of players, staff, or academy members, providing tailored support and assistance.
• Coordinating and managing complex schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
• Liaising effectively with internal departments, including coaching staff, medical teams, and administration, to ensure a seamless support network.
• Proactively identifying potential issues and developing solutions to ensure the welfare of club personnel.
• Providing first-class administrative support, including managing correspondence and maintaining accurate records.
• Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships to foster a positive and supportive environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of exceptional organisational skills and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record in a similar support-focused role.

• Demonstrable experience in a role requiring a high level of care and administration, such as a Player Liaison Officer, Welfare Officer, or Executive Assistant, preferably within a sports or high-performance environment.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• A high degree of professionalism, empathy, and discretion is essential.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote working environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a calm and methodical approach.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software.
• A genuine passion for football and an understanding of the unique demands of a professional sports club is highly desirable.
